Happy 3rd of July: July 3rd — 7:15-9pm; Marine Corps Band will play patriotic music on the Goldring/Woldenberg Great Lawn followed by fireworks at 9pm; Blankets, chairs, dogs on leashes, and picnics permitted; No tents; FREE; City Park
Zephyrs VS Iowa: July 4th– 6pm; 4th July Celebration; Mini Flag Giveaway, fireworks and concert after the game.
St. Bernard Salutes America: July 4th — 6-10:30pm; Food, music, face painting, hot dog eating contest and more; Music by Amanda Shaw and the Topcats; Fireworks; FREE; Civic Center Grounds
Go 4th On The River: July 4th — 9pm; Dueling Barges Fireworks Extravaganza; The soundtrack will be simulcast on Magic 101.9 FM, WWL AM and FM, and WWLTV.com; Fireworks are also visible from the Algiers Levee; FREE; New Orleans Riverfront
Light Up the Sky: July 2nd — 5-9pm; Zemurray Park – Ponchatoula Recreation District 1

Celebrate America: July 4th — 10am-3pm; Golden Oldies Motor Club, The Steel Soldiers, live music and more; All proceeds to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project; FREE; Downtown Hammond
Madisonville Old Fashioned 4th: July 4th — 1:30pm; Parade, horseshoe tournament; beauty pageant and more.

Kenilworth Independence Day Parade: July 3rd — 6:30pm; “Learning to Love Liberty”; music and more; parade starts at Kenilworth Science and Technology School
North Bouleard Town Square: July 4th — all day; “Patriots On The Beacon”; Honor our patriots with over 100 photos of those who have served in the military; Patriotic music and movies will play throughout the day and night.

USS KIDD’s 4th of July Spectacluar: July 4th — 9am-9pm; Games, crafts, inflatables, face painting and more; No ice chest, BBQ pits, tents or pets allowed; Fireworks on the Mississippi River at 9pm
Fireworks On the Mississippi: July 4th — 9pm; Can be viewed from either side of the river
Star Spangled Saturday: July 5th — 8am-noon; Celebrate with locally grown produce, live music and more; Red Stick Farmers Market – Fifth and Main
